For typical roller chains, regular maintenance and re-greasing are actually an absolute necessity. Yet since there are areas of application where greasing is at the very least problematic (if not impossible), we launched the roller chain – and that was more than ten years ago. Since then, we have constantly been working on improving its useful properties, thereby adapting to ever-increasing customer demands with regard to the useful life of this tool. The result: a maintenance-free roller chain, a latest-generation product. ............ Its three outstanding properties will also leave you convinced: The bushes are made of a specially-tempered material with self-lubricating properties. Chain rollers and link plates are nickel-plated. This gives them a shield against corrosion which is also suitable for use in the foods industry! The chain bolts are also coated (via another chemical process).The result: very high wear resistance!
